You think you will remember it, but you won't. Also, take advantage of your conference periods by setting up a visit to other classrooms in your building. Every teacher does things differently so you can get LOADS of ideas. Visit specials too! You never know...I taught grades 1 and 2 for 12 years and then got moved to PE! You can learn some good management techniques from ALL teachers.
