What would I do without Farley to keep me on top of the changing months? Seriously where does the time go? Another month, another Currently!
Here's my Currently for the month of June...
Listening: I am not a big fan of watching sports on TV. There are plenty of other things I would much rather be watching (namely reality TV). Sports, not so much. They take far too long, are repetitive, and often put me to sleep. However, the majority of my family does not see the joy in watching 20+ men fight over one girl's love and thus I am forced to endure hours of sports TV. Luckily I have plenty of blogs to stalk and pins to repin.
Loving: During school, I have so much homework and so many textbooks to read that reading for fun just does not happen. Now that I am on vacation I have plenty of time to read and it is fabulous! If you have any must reads let me know in the comments below!
Thinking: Seriously I am about ready to buy a shed to put outside to house all the books and Dollar Spot goodies that I keep purchasing. It's slowly taking over the entire house. It's quite a problem but I just can't stop!
Wanting: I have been wanting to go on a cross country road trip my entire life. I am dying to see different parts of the country than the small part I have been exposed to. It definitely isn't going to happen any time soon but a girl can dream right?
Needing: The days are just not long enough. This is a common thread in my life. I come home and all of a sudden out of nowhere it is 10 o'clock. I have barely finished dinner and have had no time to unwind before it's time to go to bed. You would think summer vacation would have solved this problem but nope it's still happening!
3 Vacay Essentials: I don't go anywhere without a good book. Make that more like at least 5. I love reading in the car on long drives. Also, a camera is a must have. I am an obsessive picture taker. I have been known to go on one weekend vacation and take 600 pics. Finally, no vacation would be complete without some family or friends to share the memories with!
Can't wait to see what everyone else is up to this month! Thanks again Farley!
Cute blog! I am a new follower. I love your vacay essentials and would definitely agree on 28 hour days.

I'm so happy to be reading for fun also! I love to read! If you haven't read Firefly Lane or the sequel, put it on your "must read" list!!!
ReplyDeleteTales of a fourth grade teacher.
I also LOVE that I now have time to read for fun. It's probably my favorite part about summer.

It's not a vacation without my family! I have a few family members think it's not a vacation if their kids come with them. I completely disagree. You should plan a road trip! Plan this summer and go on the trip next summer. Enjoy!

I am with you on needing more storage space. I cannot control myself when it comes to buying books. I didn't realize how out of control I got until I was organizing yesterday! A road trip is a good one time experience for sure. I drove from Ohio to Colorado last summer, and it was fantastic. We did it so cheaply! While I loved it, I think once was definitely enough!
