Weekly Wednesday #6 Freebie

It's Wednesday but it feels like Friday already.
Yet another rainy day here.
It's rained 6 out of the last 7 days here.
Not a fan of this weather.

Weekly Wednesday Freebie #5 Football Edition

If there is one thing I have learned on my teacher blogging adventure it's that there are some die hard football fan's out there. Like crazy obsessed in a good way. I have never been that into football because it just seemed too complicated to me. But with football season in full swing I was inspired. When a freebie football clip art set came available from Dots Of Fun I knew it was meant to me. Football themed activities I can handle, so your wish is my command.

For you all today I have created a football real and nonsense word sort game. I think you and your kiddos will like it!

I thought it was super adorable and fun to make. Who knows, I might even be inspired to watch a few football games this season. You never know!

Weekly Wednesday Freebie #3

Here it is, Wednesday again. Boy this week is flying by. I couldn't leave you hanging so I whipped up this quick freebie together today. So I'm a little late to the write the room party but I couldn't resist. I have become quite obsessed with them lately and I decided to try my hand at one. Many of you are probably already past teaching colors but there is always next year. So without further ado, here is my write the room freebie.

Weekly Wednesday Freebie #2 - And a Question for You!

Hi guys! This is gonna be a quick post because I am beyond exhausted. That three day weekend killed me. I am not a fan of waking up early again. I had visions of summer vacation in my head all day today.

Currently...Monday Made It!

I think the most anticipated event since starting this blog has been the September currently. I loved reading them each month and since starting my blog I couldn't wait til it was my turn! So here I am linking up with Farley at

So Storage Wars. Do any of you watch that show? I started out thinking it was stupid and then got so intrigued by the things they were finding and the serious cash they were making. I think all teachers could use some extra cash right? We should do Storage Wars Teacher Edition. Think of all the children's books and school supplies we could buy!

Fall TV premieres make me so happy. I love TV. I'm the first to admit it. My DVR is always filled to the brim. And TV always seems to make the weeks go by faster for me which is a win win situation.

I always start out using a planner to keep everything organized. I write down what I have to do each day to keep track. Then once it gets to the 3rd week, I always seem to just stop and never use the planner again. What is up with me? Why can I never stay organized? I'm hoping that I will be inspired by all you wonderful bloggers to stay organized with you fabulous organizational tips!

Fall, fall, fall! What can I say about you? I just love fall! It is the best time of year. The leaves change, the air gets cooler, you can bundle up in sweatshirts and boots, bonfires are a delight and apple picking turns into delicious apple pies that fill the house with their delicious aroma. I anxiously await my reunion with fall!

One part of the job I don't think they mention is that little kid chairs are a killer on the back. I need that chiropractor to whip me back into shape stat!

Finally, my favorite things! I love my teacher toolbox! I had so much fun making it! It is so great. I'm hoping this keeps me organized! Next up, new shoes! Who doesn't love a good pair of shoes! They always make everything better! Plus when you are standing all day long you need a good pair to keep you going. Finally, 25 cent Sharpies! Are you crazy? Can't pass up that deal! I am obsessed with sharpies! Filled up my teacher toolbox drawer with every color in the rainbow! Love!

My second most anticipated event was to get started with the Monday Made It's hosted by Tara over at 4th Grade Frolics.

These 4th grade ladies have the best ideas! I have only "made" one thing recently and it is the picture frame white board thing.

I love it. The picture doesn't do it justice of how cute it is! So simple yet effective! Those are my type of crafts!

Yesterday I made a Halloween Freebie if you want to head over and check that out! I am gonna count that as a "made it".

I can't wait to see what other things people come up with so I can draw more creative inspiration. Hopefully since it is only a monthly made it now, I can come up with many more things for October!

On Monday, I premiered my first ever freebie: I Have Who Has Tooth Fairy Edition. Click HERE to learn more about that freebie! I was so excited that I decided to make another freebie right away. It's addicting!

Today's freebie was inspired by Amanda Madden's blog Teaching Maddeness. Before reading about her monster themed classroom I would have never thought monsters could be so cute. I fell in love with those googly eyed furry monsters on the spot. Luckily I had the perfect clip art to go along with my monster freebie thanks to Krista Wallden.

Last week I made a freebie for 2nd grade and this week I was inspired by kindergarten. I did another math freebie this week. Next week I'm thinking possibly first grade language arts? But we will get to that later......

TO THE FREEBIE!!!

This freebie is a simple math worksheet meeting the Kindergarten CCSS K.OA.5. Fluently add and subtract within 5. I think it is the perfect mix of material and cuteness which is what I am all about! I made an addition and a subtraction version. I also made one version with just written directions and another version with picture cues below to help.

Starting tomorrow, I will be featuring a freebie for you all each Wednesday. *Fingers crossed* that I can keep this up. I am really excited for this series! I am going to call it Weekly Wednesday Freebie. I am going to check around on different TOU's but I am hoping to make a picture for the weekly series and everything! I might even venture as to make a blog button too. Say what??? I already have a freebie set for tomorrow that I am very excited about. Wednesdays can seem so close to Friday yet so far.
